History
God inspired a small group of men and women to establish the Pleasant Hill
Baptist Church in August 1869. These members were fresh out of slavery and for
the most part could not read or write. But guided by God they were able to plant
seeds of faith that have endured until today. This church continues to be an
influence in the Westminster community. We take every opportunity to celebrate
God's blessings and to demonstrate His love to all we meet.
